Junior League of Springfield has returned to Glenstone Square, the service organization announced.

The organization and its Plaid Door Resale Boutique are now at 1740 S. Glenstone Ave., suites Q and R, where the original JLS office was in 1977. From 1983 until 2023, JLS was in the historic Oak Grove School building. For the past year, JLS was housed by the Boy Scouts of America Ozark Trails Council headquarters.

Summer hours at 1740 S. Glenstone Ave will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The new location features multiple meeting spaces, larger employee accommodations, ample parking and the ability for the JLS resale boutique to open a storefront "and once again thrive as one of their premier fundraisers."

"JLS feels this transition represents their commitment to providing an enhanced membership experience while ensuring their organization continues to grow and evolve. They believe this move will streamline their operations and move them closer to achieving their strategic goals," JLS said in a press release. "JLS is confident this move will enable the league to better achieve their mission and serve the community with renewed vigor."
