You can vote for the News-Leader's male team of the year from all MSHSAA sports across Southwest Missouri for the 2023-24 academic calendar. After another great year of sports in the Ozarks, who will get your vote?

Voting for the male team of the year will go through July 7 with the winner announced later in the week.

Springfield area high school male team of the year nominees

Logan-Rogersville soccer — Went 26-1 with its lone loss coming in the Class 2 state championship game.

Catholic soccer — Placed fourth in Class 3 for the program's first state semifinal appearance since 2014.

Republic football — Finished as the Class 5 runner-up while making its first state championship appearance in school history.

Marionville football — Finished the year undefeated while winning the Class 1 state championship

Seneca football — Finished as the Class 3 runner-up after a 13-1 season for its first state championship appearance in a decade.
