'Harry & Meghan' Release Time: When New Episodes Are Out on Netflix

It's been almost two years since Harry and Meghan stepped back as "working royals" and moved their lives to California in the U.S.

Since then, the couple together, and individually, have spoken out about the negative aspects of their time as members of the royal family, but nothing quite like the scale of the global Netflix documentary series.

The couple are now ready to tell their side of the story in a two-part Netflix documentary series, simply titled Harry & Meghan.

Newsweek has everything you need to know about the documentary series so you do not miss a thing.

What Will Harry & Meghan on Netflix Be About?

Harry and Meghan are showing no sign of staying quiet about their experiences of life as members of the British Royal Family.

The couple has already given a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021 and Harry's memoir, Spare, is set to hit bookshelves in January 2023.

Directed by Oscar nominee Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan on Netflix is a behind-the-scenes look at their time as working royals, told from their perspective.

The documentary series will delve deep into the poor treatment Meghan received by the U.K. press and public, which was often racist in nature.

In the trailer for Harry & Meghan, Harry reflects: "It's really hard to look back on it now and go: 'What on earth happened?'"

He continues: "There's a hierarchy of the family, you know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories. It's a dirty game."

The trailer then flashes through footage of the royal family and his late mother, Princess Diana. Harry can then be heard saying: "The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn't want history to repeat itself. No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth."

Other commentators also appear in the trailer, with one stating: "There was a war against Meghan to suit other people's agendas.

Christopher Bouzy, who founded a company specializing in tackling social media misinformation, appears in the trailer and says: "It's about hatred. It's about race."

Another, shorter trailer, includes several black and white images of Harry and Meghan looking happier than ever, before photographs start to emerge of Meghan looking upset and Harry, distressed.

At the end of the trailer, Harry states: "No one sees what's happening behind close doors," with Meghan adding: "When the stakes were this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?"

Harry & Meghan Part One will air on Thursday, December 8, and Part Two on Thursday, December 11, only on Netflix.
