USA Today bestselling author Chuck Tingle is on tour promoting his new book, “Bury Your Gays,” and his next stop will be in New Orleans.
Tingle will be discussing and signing the book at Cafe Istanbul, 2372 St. Claude Ave., at 7 p.m. July 16.
“Bury Your Gays” follows the main character Misha, a script writer, as he is nominated for an Oscar for his streaming series. Studio execs think that killing the gay characters on the show will make it more successful, but Misha refuses. That puts a target on his back, but he may be in even bigger trouble as he and his friends are stalked throughout Los Angeles.
The meet-and-greet is $35 per person, in advance only. The author talk and book signing will be presented by Tubby & Coo’s Traveling Book Shop.
