Mr Gatti’s announced a partnership Thursday that will lead to the pizza chain opening 92 locations inside Walmart stores in four states, including Louisiana.
The agreement is set to begin at the end of the year, with 12 Mr Gatti’s opening in Walmart stores in north Texas and southern Oklahoma. After expanding into stores in Louisiana and Kentucky, the two companies said they intend to grow the partnership further.
The Mr Gatti’s locations inside Walmart will feature counter service and seating so customers can eat pizza, wings, salads and sandwiches. Customers will also be able to use the Mr Gatti’s app so they can order food for pickup after they finish shopping at Walmart.
Walmart officials said the collaboration supports the company’s goal of offering high-quality options and making their stores a one-stop shop for consumer needs.
