BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HIGH: Chase Bagwill has been named head coach of the boys’ soccer team. Bagwill, a 2008 Jesuit alumnus, served as coach of Franklin’s JV boys’ soccer team and assistant varsity coach last year, when BFHS made it to the state championship. Bagwill replaces former head coach Joe Roberts.

HAHNVILLE HIGH: Air Force JROTC Headquarters has recognized Hahnville High School Master Sgt. Gene Moll and Master Sgt. Richard Lochren as Outstanding Instructors of the Year. Lochren was also recognized as this region’s Outstanding Instructor of the Year, which allows him to wear the Gold instructor badge. LA-933 Fighting Tigers were awarded the Distinguished Unit Award with Merit, the highest unit award HQ bestows on a unit.
