The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an in-custody death that occurred at a hospital Thursday night.
An 82-year-old man died Thursday evening "after a lengthy hospital stay," according to JPSO Captain Jason Rivarde.
Foul play is not suspected, he said in a press release.
Rivarde did not disclose the man's identity, as his family had not yet been notified.
