As a professional driver covering 80% of United States, the interstate highway system in Louisiana is by far the worst I have driven. Outside of work on Interstate 10 west of Lafayette and Interstate 12 on the northshore, there doesn’t seem to be any effort to make improvements.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation should look at our neighbors to the east for guidance. Mississippi knows how to properly maintain roads. (Don’t even get me started on Louisiana's secondary roads.)
