Man Utd Secure Deal for Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United have finalized an agreement to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee for a fee exceeding £35m (��?42.5m), surpassing his £33.6m (��?40m) release clause. This deal is structured with more favorable payment terms, allowing United to pay over a three-year period instead of a lump sum up-front.

The 23-year-old Dutch striker has already agreed on personal terms for a five-year contract, with the option for an additional year, and is scheduled to undergo a medical at Old Trafford this week. Zirkzee's impressive form this season saw him net 12 goals and provide 7 assists, contributing significantly to Bologna's qualification for the Champions League.

Zirkzee, who previously came through Bayern Munich's ranks and had stints with Parma and Anderlecht, made a notable impact in Serie A this term.
