Leaky Black making first NBA start Monday for Hornets
Charlotte Hornets rookie forward Leaky Black is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Black will enter the lineup for Cody Martin (knee) to make his first NBA start. He played close to 20 minutes off the bench in the last two games and averaged 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers. Ish Smith, who started in place of Martin last game, will likely shift to the second unit.
Black is averaging 0.77 FanDuel points per minute, across 149 minutes this season. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Hornets' implied total (107.0) and the game total (226.5) are both the lowest of the day.
