The JBL Tunebuds, which received an “Excellent” rating from our experts and our our review found that their "IP54 rating" was “slightly better than average for noise-canceling earphones.” The Tunebuds also boast a 10-12 hour battery life, depending on whether or not you toggle Active Noise Cancellation. “The earphones have no trouble reproducing the sub-bass at the 34-second mark of Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty.” The deepest of these low notes come across clearly with subwoofer-like rumble, while the drum loop gets some extra thump. The various vocals sound crisp and clear thanks to some sculpting in the high mids and highs,” according to our review.
