Save This Old Iowa Fixer Upper $39K - Old Houses Under $50K Ceiling Murals, Overhead Door, The Brick, High Ceilings, Brick House, Concrete Floors, Fixer Upper, Small Town, High Ceiling

I wish someone had gotten to the Iowa fixer upper before "improvements" were made, but fortunately many original details still remain. The Italianate pre-dates 1900 and the brick work is showing its age. Original elements inside include hardwood floors, high ceilings, old mantels and transoms. The home is located in a small town of 424 residents, and was likely the residence of a successful businessman or farmer when the railroad was introduced to the area. It is no longer there.

Original details inside! Circa 1900 in North Carolina. $159,000 - The Old House Life Hydrangea House, Huge Home, Cheap Houses For Sale, Historic Homes For Sale, Coffered Ceilings, Leaded Glass Windows, Tiny House Trailer, Cheap Houses, Vintage Light Fixtures

Love all of the original details inside this one! The listing says there are two bedrooms and one bathroom, but I see more than that. This home was built in 1900. It is located on .60 acres in Wadesboro, North Carolina. The home features a large covered front porch, original hardwood floors, vintage light fixtures, french doors, great entryway, coffered ceilings and leaded glass windows. The house definitely needs some work and some paneling remediation. I see three bedrooms and two…
