This woven wall hanging will be made to order! Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. It is made from 100% felted merino wool using a variety of weaving, felting and hand knotting techniques. All of the yarns in this weaving have been hand dyed in my Denver, CO studio, using sustainably sourced wool fibers to create this beautiful decorative wall piece. I am collecting different types of pinecones and clean them with a proper way. Then I get them dried at an oven and use water based wood protector to make resistance against rot and let them dry again. When the pinecones are ready I shape them by hand or with thin scissors. To make a smooth shape, pinecones are getting trimmed with a Dremel. Then comes the fun part, I color them with a high quality acrylic paint.
