This game aims to allow students to practise answering questions to get to know their peers. The players take it in turns to pick out a coloured item. Items that can be used include anything that comes in different colours e.g., buttons, stickers, sweets (e.g., Skittles, M and Ms, Smarties, Chocolate Eggs,) cut up pieces of fruit etc. The colour of the item chosen relates to how they will add to the conversation e.g., tell us your favourite food, tell us your favourite film. Today we are having our Primary "Meet Your Teacher" Activity. All of the teachers were asked to come up with a "get to know you" activity to do with the children in their class. This is what I came up with to play with my 11 year olds. I bought a variety of candy bars, and will put them in a brown paper bag. Each child will have a chance to pull out a candy bar.
