Maybe the foot is struggling with bulky layers? Let’s go manual! ⁠ ⁠ 🌟 Mark out your buttonhole, making it a few millimetres bigger than the button. Draw a central line and then the sides - they should be about 4/5mm apart.⁠ ⁠ 🌟 Sew the bottom first! Use a wide zigzag, with a width of about 5 and a length of 0.1. ⁠ ⁠ 🌟 Reposition your foot slightly, change your stitch to a narrow zigzag (2 wide and 0.3 long) and sew the left side.⁠ ⁠ 🌟 Reposition and sew the end with your wide zigzag again.
