I Am The Walrus

Although it has been reported that Lennon wrote "I Am the Walrus" to confuse those who tried to interpret his songs, there have nevertheless been many attempts to analyse the meaning of the lyrics. Among the surreal imagery, is the mention of the Eggman. This refers to The Animals' singer Eric Burdon, who was given the nickname by John Lennon.

Some things are better in hindsight -- especially things created by The Beatles, who were consistently ahead of their time. For proof look no further than their film Magical Mystery Tour, which did terribly upon its release but could find a more receptive audience in the hipsters of Generation Y. The film is being re-released on DVD and Blu-ray in October -- giving young audiences a chance to discover the film anew.

The legendary producer also revealed that Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando slept together.
