Some Difficult Truths • Toxic people exist. To protect yourself, ensure you keep your distance. • Only pleasing others will eventually break you. Self-care is vital.

One of the things I've been focusing on is that not everyone will like you and that's okay. As a recovering people pleaser, it can be hard.

Not everyone will get you. Not everyone will like you. Not everyone will value you. And that's ok. Accept it. Accept it, and remember... There are people out there that will see and value all that you have to give. There are people who will deserve your love and your attention. There are people who will value you for the loving, giving person you are. There are people out there waiting for someone just like you. Wishing for someone just like you.
