Today I continue a 7-year tradition of looking back throughout this year on my blog and choosing my favorites of the year. I used a slimline die to cut the front panel out of white card stock. I then used a cloud stencil to make the clouds ink blending in several shades of pink oxide inks. I then die cut 3 times the Neighborhood die and cut the houses and trees apart. I hand drew hills out of more white card stock and fussy cut them and added the houses and trees to make a layered look and added them to the cloud panel. Karen is our hostess, and she has picked Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Soft Sea Form with dessert to use our favorite bling. When I saw this combination, it reminded me of a card I once saw with pink Poinsettias so that is what I went with. I don't have a favorite bling, so I used sequins, which I use often. TFL

I had such a wonderful time strolling through Monika's gallery of stunning creations. Like a trip to the candy store - eye candy. I chose this beautiful card to CASE: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2395116?&cat=500&ppuser=350971. I kept the main color, Pink and kept true to the layout. Used only two colors, substituted snowflakes for the flowers, left out the flourishes and added one small flake at the bottom. I hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight, Monika!
