This blossomed off the back of 2024's spring nail trends, and turned into one of the most searched nail styles of the moment. From gorgeous hibiscus flowers being carved onto your nails to pearls and gems taking your nail beds to the next level, you can do as much, or as little as you want with the 3D nail art trend, and that's why Mylee ambassador and celebrity manicurist Tinu Bello loves it.

3D nail art is more than traditional nail art, which is typically painted or stuck directly onto the nail. Instead, 3D nail art incorporates diamantes, beads, flowers, charms, and sculpted acrylic shapes to create intricate and eye-catching designs, so there's something for everyone.

"Rhinestones and gems add sparkle and dimension with various sizes and colours," Bello explains. "Acrylic sculptures allow for the creation of custom shapes like flowers, bows, or animals. Metal charms, small metallic pieces in different shapes and designs, and beads and pearls add texture and elegance. Fimo slices (which are pre-made polymer clay designs like fruits, flowers, or cartoon characters) and embossed designs (raised patterns created with acrylic or gel) are also popular choices."
