"This is my favourite Hinge prompt," Flynn says. "It's a fun guessing game for someone to easily get involved in and it also gives some insight to things you have done and achieved or are true about you."

She says a good answer for this Hinge prompt could be: "I can speak Spanish and German, I queued for 14 hours to see Taylor Swift and I love coriander. Can you guess which one's a lie?"

Opting for an open-ended, thought-provoking prompt could be more successful than the others you could go for. Flynn tells us: "Anything thought-provoking invites people to share their own thoughts related or non-related to your topic. You can be funny or show off your intelligent side and generally these types of prompts show off your curiosity towards the world."
