Empowering Parents Therapeutic Parenting (EmPaTh)
Our EmPaTh group is a weekly online group offered to parents and carers of children who have attachment difficulties resulting from trauma they may have encountered, or early separation from their birth parents. This might include children who have been or currently are in foster care, are looked after or adopted. This group is offered to all parents who would like to join to develop a specialist understanding of the problems their child might face and to learn some skills and strategies to respond to their child's needs and reduce the impact of their difficulties.

Empowering Parents Therapeutic Parenting Group
This group is for parents with children who may be struggling with a range of emotional and behavioural needs including behaviour that challenges, passivity and conformity in relationships without others, difficulties with being assertive, running away or truancy at school, school refusal, sexual exploitation risk, lying and stealing. The group content considers ways to understand this behaviour and support to consider how best to deal with it. Each session lasts 2 hours and can be delivered as a group or individually as required. We also offer individual parent consultations to consider a parenting issue. The group is offered online.
