Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program is a mentorship and engagement program to support the mission of the Center for Advancing Women in Economics (AWE).
Call for 2025 Fellowship Applications
The fellowship is open to early-career research economists with a PhD in Economics or a related field. We invite applications from researchers working on topics of interest to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond including, but not limited to, macroeconomics and central banking.
As a fellow, you will be invited to:
- Attend two CORE Weeks, which includes attending seminars, dinners, and other networking opportunities with staff and visiting economists.
- Participate in a Fellowship Lunch during your CORE week visit in which you will be joined by members of the Richmond Fed Research department.
- Present your work at a brown bag seminar and receive feedback from our economists.
- Attend, virtually, other seminars and brown bag presentations hosted by the Richmond Fed Research department.
The fellowship period is January – December 2025.
How to Apply
- Requirements: CV, letter of intent, at least one letter of recommendation
- Express interest in the Fellowship by sending a message to the Center for Advancing Women in Economics mailbox. The Center will respond via email to request the required documents as attachments.
- Applications should be received before June 28, 2024
Applicants must be employed by a U.S. university, Federal Reserve Bank, or government agency and be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents.
