i loved it! wish it will get more exposure. the ones who critic it harshly maybe don't get the heart and soul of the movie, in my humble opinion. any person who's been through similar things to what this kid's going through, will feel for him and can relate to this interesting slowly unraveling story. And Joseph Fiennes is doying a wonderfull job here. Also Deborah Kara Unger is great here!

I liked this film, it came together nicely with two plots really meshing into one. This movie is about finding your true self through new beginnings and starting fresh. Great movie for fans of religion and self improvement.

Great performances, great cast, great movie. Who is Leo? Who is Stephen? Give me your opinion about what you realized at the end of the movie... Great plot! And the movie has some actors from series:Justin Chambers the doctor from Grey's Anatomy, Jake Weber from Medium. Elisabeth Shue is splendid as Mary Bloom.

*** (out of four) A nice, but distant and morose drama that features a nice performance from Joseph Fiennes. More could have been done with it, but it still is worthwhile. Fiennes plays a man leaving prison. He hopes to turn his life around. His first task is to find, Leo, the boy who has been writing him while in prison.
