It does succeed slightly, although it is mostly kind of dull to watch. However, if you're interested in what post "Friday Night Lights" Aimee Teegarden or post "Home Improvement" Patricia Richardson are doing this is the film for you. I also must say that this film proves that Lance Henriksen is the most versatile cot damn actor in all of Hollywood.
