Audience Member This was interesting and uplifting. It was predictable but still good. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review peter s This movie could have been a lot better (too many characters are too vague) but the actresses who play Liz Murray could not. A particular kudos to Thora Birch for her touching performance. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Powerful true story well told and well acted. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film! Very inspiring story of how you can turn your life around no matter how hard it is, if you believe you can and keep trying, you can better yourself and your life. Based on a true story. Really enjoyed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The film depicts the life of Elizabeth "Liz" Murray. While the film deals with heavy subject matter such as poverty, drug use, child abuse, and sexual abuse. The movie is a good portrayal of overcoming hard times. While is difficult to see at times is a good movie especially for Lifetime standards which is surprising and with the strong acting of its lead Thora Birch, she carries the film with her acting and portrayal of the title character that you feel every moment as if you where in the situation with her. Overall is a great and memorable film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member very inspiring, and not hokey Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
