Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) The film does not distill venom. Its style is not that of a wasp with an evil stinger, rather it is of a bee that goes from flower to flower sipping honey... with second intentions. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 16, 2023 Full Review Steve Warren The Barb (Atlanta) The cast is good and there are enough hilarious moments to foster the hope that Feldman will continue growing as a filmmaker. May 6, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy There are several choice skits in this uneven parody. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 20, 2021 Full Review Ruth Batchelor Los Angeles Free Press Marty Feldman proves himself to be not only a funny comic actor but a zanny, far out and funny writer-director as well. Oct 22, 2019 Full Review Jesús Fernández Santos El Pais (Spain) Amidst homages to Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd emerge anti-homages to television or James Bond, and a ridiculous humor, set in an atmosphere of Christmas laughs. Audience Member Classic. Prison break was genius Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Even though it's the studio cut it's still a genius bit of parody too bad Marty was so "unique" looking had he been like Michael York then all the reviews would be rave. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is pretty much a No. I was able to tolerate this for 37 minutes, but that's about it. The jokes are all unoriginal and head shakingly dumb. The only recent it gets two stars is for the scenery and costuming. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I thoroughly enjoy this film & found it to be a hilarious surprise--Marty Feldman Cracks Me Up!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Mel Brooks, this is not, but Feldman's parody of classic desert epics & Hollywood adventures certainly has its moments, thanks to its game cast, including a delightfully campy Ustinov and York relishing his 'blonde, do-no-wrong hero' role with extreme glee, a few amusing gags, such as a Keaton/Chaplin-style prison escape sequence & the 'Screw Harder' scene, and Morris' bombastic score, which includes a very catchy, though of course raunchy, theme song that will get stuck in your head. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member 86% "Metals are like hemroids, after awhile every ashole gets one."-Beau Geste (Micheal York) Top notch screw ball comedy that I preffer, over, half of Brook's body of work. RIP Marty Feldman Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
