Deborah Ross The Spectator In its cold, almost forensic way, this is as tense and exciting as it is absorbing. It's a miracle, really. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online The Social Network, just like its subject, is the pop culture phenomenon of the new generation. Rated: A Sep 11, 2017 Full Review Tara Brady Hot Press Fincher does, at least, make decent entertainment out of such inherently unprepossessing subjects as computer use and legal hearings. Jan 13, 2017 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn There's so much story in this and provided a great platform for Jesse Eisenberg. It definitely feels like a lot of liberties with this true story but that doesn't make it less entertaining. Rated: 4/5 Jul 1, 2024 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn This is a "Top Ten" film for me. The performances, direction, cinematography, score, and of course, the incredible Aaron Sorkin screenplay make this film a classic. Faiz D You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. 'The Social Network' is a story about friendship, loyalty, greed and betrayal. It is an absolutely amazing, and engrossing film to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/29/24 Full Review Ben M 2 hours of college kids arguing about a website.... everyone else seems to love it and think it's brilliant. Sorry to be the one who calls it for what it is ---- another one of David Fincher's so-called "masterpieces." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/28/24 Full Review Mate P The Social Network is a dialogue-based movie with a perfectly written script. The writing is flawless, I was interested in all the characters and I liked them including the morally questionable ones. It's amazing to see that all of the characters are completely understandable, all of their actions are backed with reason even though they are morally wrong from an objective point of view. The acting was also flawless, which brought the words from the screenplay to life. The cinematography, editing and direction were amazing, I felt completely locked in. During every work meeting, every party I felt like I was there. The music was also amazing. Dialogue-based movies often make the mistake not to give audiences outstanding visuals, but this movie has that in the form of the amazing editing, direction and cinematography. The Social Network is a perfect film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/22/24 Full Review Chris G The best movies of the 2010’s without a doubt. From start to finish the dialogue and acting is top notch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/24 Full Review Connor N Actually pretty good but not my genre Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
