During Amazon Prime Day (a two-day event, actually!), the e-retailer offers some of its biggest discounts of the year. Expect to score impressive sales on electronics, workout equipment, shoes, clothing, skincare, and more—so it's a good time to upgrade or replace what you have now. Plus, Amazon's own brands will be on sale, so look for deals on a Fire tablet or Echo.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
This year, the two-day event is on July 16 and 17, and the best deals will be reserved for those two days. If you see something you like, don't wait—because there's no guarantee it'll still be available for the two days. On the other hand, if you don't get a chance to shop (what are you even doing if you don't, though?), Amazon often extends the sales for certain items...as long as they're in stock, that is.
Do I need an Amazon Prime membership to get Prime Day deals?
Yes. The Prime Day discounts are reserved for Prime members, but if you don't have a membership yet, signing up is easy. If you're not ready to commit to a $14.99 monthly payment (or an annual $139), you can sign up for a 30-day free trial. Amazon also offers discounted memberships to students and seniors who qualify!
