Since 11/15/12, a man calling himself 'Rayvon Scott' claims to be calling to contact an employee who owes money. He will start calling around 8:45am and call repeatedly [like every 30 seconds to 60 seconds] for 2 hours at a time. He will attempt to engage every extension in the office in hopes the person answering the phone [secretary] will just give in and put the employee on the line, even though he has been repeatedly told employees [per an Administrative Rule] that can only take personal calls if it is a family emergency during work hours. He states he will continue the 'harassment' until he speaks with the employee. Mr. Scott acknowledges he is in violation of the FTC Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and taunts 'what can they do to me'. He is phone bombing and harassing a State of Illinois Dev. Disabilities Center in Illinois. The employee has been advised to send a 'cease & desist' letter to the company and contacted her lawyer. The secretary, switchboard operator, and other persons affected by this caller intends to file complaints with the FTC and the Illinois Attorney General every day 'Mr. Scott' chooses to launch his campaign of intimidation & phone harassment.
