Spam text wanting personal information from you. They start by texting you George and the then when you tell them they have the wrong number, they request your information.

Have received many VMs from this number a lot lately, so I returned the call and a man said that he was calling regarding my vehicle's warranty. I explained that I don't own a vehicle and haven't for a couple of years. The last new vehicle we purchased was in 2003! He said he would put me on the Do Not Call list, but I continued to receive calls. I called him back today and the results were very different. He kept telling me that I owed money and I better pay it. He was screaming at me and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I had to scream over him that I was the wrong person and he asked me why I would have bothered to call back then? He didn't wait for an answer. He just hung up while mumbling that he would put me on the do not call list. I wanted him to know that I was supposed to already be on that list, but for some reason continued to receive calls, so I immediately called him back. He answered the phone by saying "Oh great! Now your no longer on the Do Not Call list!" and hung up on me again! I don't know what this guy does, but I would be very leery of him. If he IS legit, he is not very good with people!

"Hi, it's George here, real quick I know you're busy" then onto something about how he knows we've shown interest in real estate blah blah" This was a voicemail but full on roborecording so would say the same if I'd answered. I've looked on line and other then the first name used, this seems to be a growing trend in Robocall approaches; loud fast talking that's supposed to sound like a live person, designed to keep the victim from gettng a word in edgewise, and with the agregate data-informed knowledge that people are far less likely to hang up on someone without saying "goodbye" or warning or letting the person finish his thought.

Stranger call disturbs me time and again. Please provide me name and address details.

Received call claiming to be adjuster for hurricane damage. Gave me a number to call, but number given is not a working one.
