Minnesota has had an impressive road trip, going 4-2 so far as the Twins head into Seattle. The Mariners come off a terrible road trip where they finished 2-6. Bailey Ober has won his last three starts, but two of them were against the weaker A's. Logan Gilbert is the reason for betting the Mariners today because he's allowed no runs in his last two starts and he's won his last three starts. Gilbert's in the zone right now. Mariners win.

The Royals have beaten Cleveland two of three meetings this year and five of the last six meetings overall. However, Triston McKenzie is on the mound for Cleveland and he bends a little bit, but you can’t break him and he usually wins. Last week he gave up three runs to Toronto and Cleveland came back and won 6-5. He's won four of his last five starts. Alec Marsh has had a little bit of trouble, giving up 10 runs in his last two games, both losses. Cleveland knows how to win and that's why the Guardians are 51-28.

The Astros are one game under .500 in the long climb upwards. They beat the Rockies the last four times and the last eight of nine times. The Rockies are reeling and have lost seven of their last nine. Ryan Feltner has just lucked out a couple of times as a pitcher with the decision but gives up a lot of runs, 29 runs allowed in his last five starts. The Astros to win by more than two.

The Cubs have beaten the Giants five of the last six meetings and two of three this season. The Giants have had some serious trouble in the previous five they had just got over .500 and then proceeded to lose five straight. Justin Steele beat the Giants 5-2 last week and allowed two runs and six and two-thirds innings with 8 strikeouts. Cubs win.

The Braves have won eight of their last 10 and looked super impressive in beating the Yankees two out of three. They're no longer sobbing about not having Strider or Acuna, they're just playing ball and taking care of who's in front of them which is the complete opposite of how they played when those two went out. They're now 43- 32 and 19-19 on the road. The Braves sent out Spencer Swellenbach who got a victory his last time out against Detroit allowing one run and three hits in six innings. He'll face Lance Lynn who has given up a lot lately in his last four he's allowed 17 runs. Braves to win.

This is the rubber match between the Orioles and the Yankees and the Yankees have their young Ace on the mound. Luis Gil has won his last nine starts for the Yankees. Four of those starts have seen him allow no runs, four have seen him allow one run, and one has seen him allow three runs. He wins almost every time so I’m riding and Cole Irvin has shown that he's giving up more than lately after a succession of wins. Yankees win.

The Rockies ended the Dodgers four-game win streak against them and went to the 9th inning to win 7-6 to break up a 6-6 tire. Gavin Stone has won his last four starts allowing five runs. Ty Blach has lost two of his last three starts the last one was a 16-4 route over the Pirates. There is a possibility of a delay but it's expected to be played with 89° and 30% chance of precipitation. Nice and warm for home runs and the wind blowing out 10 miles an hour. All three have gone over so far in this series and this one will follow suit. Over.

Cleveland lost its last two but still came out on the just-completed road trip at 4-4. Now they return home to face Seattle who are 16-19 on the road. Bryce Miller has been great at home but on the road the last two times he has been terrible, seven runs allowed in a loss to the Royals and five runs allowed in a loss to the Yankees. Triston McKenzie bends but doesn't break as Cleveland has won five straight behind him. Cleveland has the best bullpen with a 2.33 ERA. Cleveland wins tonight.

The Dodgers and Rockies should produce some runs in the high altitude of Coors Field. When they met at the beginning of the month the Dodgers won two of three but all three games were five runs or less and stayed under. The Dodgers are going to put some runs in the board just because that's what they always do at Colorado and James Paxton has gone over his last five starts, two of them were all his fault allowing seven and five runs in the two losses. Again his last five starts have gone over.

The Pirates won seven of the last 10 over the Reds. Both teams come in with identical 34-37 records. But the Pirates have an edge with three starters that could be lethal in the small playoff series if they could just get their hitting figured out consistently and the bullpen they should be fine. Paul Skenes has won his last three starts and five of six this season, he's going to pitch at most six innings so I like the five-inning bet the best with Skenes to win.

Yankees have won four of the last six against the Red Sox but lost last night. Marcus Stroman is on the mound and the Yankees won his last four starts and has been stellar even when he hasn't had a good game like against the Twins when he gave up five runs and allowed two home runs but the Yankees still won eight to five. That's what I think is going to happen tonight he's going to give up three or four runs but the Yankees are going to score on Cutter Crawford. Crawford has lost seven straight. Yankees win, likely over.

The Yankees have won four of the last five from Boston. They look like they're about to start another winning streak as they did with their four-game streak before losing in the 9th inning to the Royals Thursday, 4-3. Then they came up yesterday to Fenway and won like a machine. Cooper Criswell lost two of his last three starts and gave up four runs to Chicago in a loss and 11 runs to Baltimore in a loss. Carlos Rodon has won seven starts in a row. This is the dominant Rodon that the Yankees didn't get last year. Yankees win.

The Yankees have won three of the last four over the Red Sox. Yankees are 49-22 and 27-12 on the road for a total profit margin that is plus-1981. They average 5.06 runs per game and only allow 3.27. Luis Gil is starting which means the Yankees are going to win or at least they've won eight in a row with him starting. Brayan Bello has lost his last two starts, both were his fault as he gave up five runs to the White Sox for the loss and four runs to Detroit in a loss. Yankees to win.

Happy Mitch Keller day. It's a day to celebrate because he's pitching and he's likely to win. He's got that wave again like last year, that winning the wave of confidence. Six straight wins for Mitch Keller and he's not allowing hardly any runs, five runs allowed in six starts. That's a recipe for success. That's a recipe for a Cy Young. He keeps this up he's going to have all the National League accolades. The team plays with that extra swagger when he pitches. Pirates to win.

The Orioles have won seven of eight against Tampa Bay and five or six this season and go for the four-game sweep today. Corbin Burnes has won his last four starts allowing six runs total. His last two starts have been brilliant allowing one run each in wins over the Blue Jays and Red Sox. The Rays were .500 before the series started and now they're three games under .500. Baltimore wins.
