The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the 2023 National League Champions Arizona Diamondbacks, is Northern Nevada’s premier professional sports organization. POSITION SUMMARY
The Reno Aces Baseball Club is looking for high-energy, motivated fundraisers to join our 50/50 raffle sales team at Greater Nevada Field.
Essential Duties
- Sell 50/50 raffle program to fans pre-game and in-game
- Extensive knowledge of the Reno Aces foundation including the charitable impact of the dollars raised to promote the foundation and the 50/50 raffle
- Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets following the program requirements
- Effectively handle any issues that may arise from raffle ticket purchasers
- Answer questions fans may have about the program and Aces Foundation in general
- Collecting and reconciling a cash bank at the end of each game
- Bring a fun, positive energy to Greater Nevada Field
- Other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to interact positively with a large fan base
- Must be detailed and have strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work in fast-paced environment
- Most work is conducted outside in all weather conditions including cold, wind, rain, and heat
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Some travel required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
