The University of California, Los Angeles is accepting applications for the part-time position of UCLA Performance Nutrition Worker for a July start date. This is a $22.17/hour paid position. Duties include assisting the Performance Dietitians in overseeing and working in the Wasserman Football Center Fueling Station. This includes food and smoothie preparation, inventory management, receiving of orders, management of game and travel snacks, and other fueling needs for the department’s student-athletes. 

This is a yearly commitment starting in July, 2024, and ending in June, 2025, with the opportunity to renew for an additional year upon completion. Workers will receive mentorship by an experienced sports RD, gain understanding of NCAA/Collegiate environment, receive nutrition/food service education, gain valuable networking opportunities, as well as receive the occasional meal and snacks while working. 
 
Minimum requirements include: ability to provide original identification documents to satisfy the requirements of the Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) form (See Here); ideally working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Science/HealthCare/Physical Science field. Individuals must have reliable transportation and be ServSafe certified or become certified upon selection. Applicants will be required to a background check after selection. Upon selection, UCLA Athletics will issue and require completion of Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) Mandatory Reporter training.
