Summary:

The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple Digital Asset Management systems utilized by the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open, and Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. This includes managing every step of the photo and video asset lifecycle, such as ingesting, file naming, editing, IPTC metadata tagging, FTP uploading, and final delivery to various internal and external stakeholders. While much of this workflow is well-established, the individual in this role will be expected to not only uphold but to improve these standards and push new boundaries. Additionally, this role will support the larger Marketing Operations team with file naming conventions, graphic asset storage/location, creative ideation, and workflow process improvements. This position is not a traditional photographer or videographer field production role.

Location:

This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day asset management operations, including ingestion, distribution, and metadata governance of the organization’s multiple Digital Asset Management systems (Photoshelter, CatDV, AP Images, and Dropbox).
  • Oversee preservation and archival cataloging efforts of the Miami Dolphins’ rich historical asset library dating back to 1966.
  • Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert in locating requested imagery, video, graphic assets & their associated usage rights and publication rules.
  • Review asset uploads from contract contributors and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with approved IPTC metadata, structured naming standards, and content upload processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other ancillary business units for asset location, retrieval, and overall process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder)
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign & Illustrator is a plus.
  • 1-2 Years minimum experience with Photo Mechanic, and at least one Video Asset Management solution (CatDV, Reach Engine, MediaValet, etc.).
  • Comfortable working with media collections, metadata curation, digital deliverables, and asset management systems for both video and still photography.
  • Extensive knowledge of MacOS systems is strongly preferred.
  • Creative Agency Production or Services working experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to contribute to and understand the organization’s vision for the future.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capable of managing multiple ongoing projects, responsibilities, and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong self starter
