Role Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications, the Director, Creative is the lead role for video production and a key contributor to the overall brand management. This is a video intensive position with the ability to assist in marketing, game presentation, digital media, and graphic design. This position has two direct reports: Manager, Creative and Manager, Game Presentation.

Your Focus in this Role:

  • Primarily responsible for the organization’s video production including, but not limited to, commercial production, in-house video board content, digital media content, and sponsorable elements
  • Produces graphic and video content, including highlights and promotional material, for the team’s digital media channels
  • Produces digital media advertising, both in-house and with media partners
  • Seeks avenues to generate revenue through video and digital production
  • Shoots and edits interviews
  • Responsible for game presentation oversight to align with the Condors brand
  • Sets brand expectation for all marketing materials
  • Manages Condors.TV 
  • Works in collaboration with arena staff and personnel to enhance game presentation elements
  • Assists with creating sales and marketing collateral
  • Point person for game night broadcast elements including clipping highlights, producing packages, and fulfilling sponsorship elements
  • Makes recommendations related to new technology and equipment

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Degree is required. In lieu of degree, extensive experience in a related field will be considered
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficient in conceptualizing, shooting, and editing video
  • Fluent or proficient in After Effects preferred (ability to create motion graphics preferred)
  • Experience in green-screen production and postproduction is a plus as well
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and team player
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Must have access to a vehicle and a motor vehicle license (or ability to obtain one prior to employment)

Compensation:

This role is budgeted to start at $67,000 per year.
