THE VENUE

Designed by Gensler, BMO Stadium is home of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), and National Women’s Soccer League’s Angel City. Opened in April 2018, the 22,000-seat development is the first open-air stadium built in Los Angeles in over 30 years. Located in Exposition Park, BMO Stadium anchors the South end of the Figueroa corridor and framed by views of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline.

 

THE ROLE   

The Assistant Premium Manager of Food & Beverage Services will report to the Premium Services Manager and is responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the premium services operations including clubs, beverage operations, and all other pertinent areas of premium services.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage all facets of the premium food and beverage operations.
  • Responsible for premium food and drink menu development
  • Conduct monthly inventory to ensure that all products are accounted for.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory and submit requisitions to the purchasing manager in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly and efficiently.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to staff responsible for executing the premium business plan.
  • Direct all activities of the beverage department.
  • Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment for premium operations.
  • Responsible for providing the overall operational and financial responsibility of beverage outlet.
  • Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through excellent customer service.
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as creating a working relationship with local health officials.
  • Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner.
  • Provide quality service and excellent products while maintaining positive customer and client relations and prudent financial practices.
  • Ensures team members adhere to legends guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook.
  • Other duties, as assigned in the premium food and beverage operations.
  • Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and develop team members for the premium services department.
  • Assist in developing new concepts that best serve the desires of our guests and incorporate industry trends and technology.

         

        JOB REQUIREMENTS

        To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

        • 3+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
        • High level of computer literacy
        • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
        • Excellent interpersonal and management skills
        • Ability to provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to staff responsible for executing the premium business plan.
        • Possess a drive to provide exceptional customer services.

         

        COMPENSATION

        $66,560 -$72,000

        Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
