About Us:
Fort Lauderdale United FC (FTL UTD) is a dynamic and rapidly growing soccer club competing in the USL Super League and will feature in the league's inaugural 2024 season. The club is set to play its home matches at a brand new soccer-specific stadium at Nova Southeastern University, in Davie, Florida, formerly home to the Miami Dolphins training facility.   

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing nutritious meals. This role is critical in supporting our players' performance, health, and recovery through high-quality, balanced meals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for players, technical staff, and other team personnel, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
  • Food Safety: Ensure all meals are prepared and stored following food safety regulations and standards.
  • Ingredient Management: Source and manage high-quality ingredients, maintaining inventory and ensuring fresh, nutritious options are always available.
  • Special Events: Cater for team events, meetings, and special occasions as required.
  • Budget Management: Manage the food budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on nutrition and healthy cooking.
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements for athletes and the ability to tailor meals accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Current food safety certification.
  • Passionate about health, nutrition, and sports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
