Sky Bet has recently introduced a new promotion called AccaFreeze, which is specifically aimed at customers who place accumulator bets with five or more selections. 

This feature allows you to “freeze” one winning score of your accumulator bet while the game is continuing. If any of the teams you have bet on take the lead, you will have the option to freeze that particular selection.

It is important to note that you can only freeze one selection per accumulator – and once it has been frozen you cannot undo or reverse the freeze.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the AccaFreeze feature is not available for multiples with four selections. However, if you include another selection in your bet, making it a five-fold acca, you will be eligible to use the AccaFreeze feature.

Acca pick 1 – Spain vs Germany, Friday, 5pm

This is the pick of the quarter-finals. Spain and Germany have been the best sides at Euro 2024 and many experts are predicting the winner of this match will go on to lift the trophy.

It is hard to call but the two nations are the highest scorers at the tournament – Germany with 10 goals and Spain nine – so we have opted for both teams to score.

Germany have only failed to score in two of their previous 15 games while Spain have found the net in 13 of their past 14 matches.

Acca pick 2 – France vs Portugal, Friday, 8pm

Neither of these sides have lived up to expectations at Euro 2024, with France scoring just three times in four matches – two of those own goals – and Portugal needing penalties to beat Slovenia in the last 16 after a goalless draw.

France beat Belgium in the previous round courtesy of a deflection off Jan Vertonghen but they did have 19 shots in that game and the majority of the possession, suggesting there’s more to come.

In contrast, Portugal’s shoot-out success came off the back of a 2-0 loss to Georgia in their final group game, which indicates Roberto Martinez’s need to improve fast.

Acca pick 3 – England vs Switzerland, Saturday, 5pm 

Since beating Serbia in their first match, England have not won in 90 minutes, drawing with Denmark and Slovenia before beating Slovakia in extra time.

Switzerland knocked out the holders Italy but have never got past the quarter-final stage of a major tournament and will see Saturday’s game as a very good opportunity to make it to the last four.

Before this tournament all three of Switzerland’s knockout matches at past European Championship  finals have ended in draws and we’re backing that outcome after 90 minutes.

Acca pick 4 – Netherlands vs Turkey, Saturday, 8pm 

Turkey have been one of the surprise packages at Euro 2024 thus far but Netherlands should have too much for them as Portugal did in the group stages when they won 3-0.

Netherlands beat Romania in the round of 16 by the same scoreline and there have been over 2.5 goals in eight of their last nine matches across all competitions, with an average of 3.55 per game.

There have also been over 2.5 goals in Turkey’s four games at the Euros and, when these sides last met in September 2021, Netherlands won 6-1. We’re backing them to win again with over 2.5 goals in the game.
