Cheyenne R. Ubiera started writing for The U.S. Sun in October 2021. She has previously written for The Daily News, The Daily Beast, The Riverdale Press, and The Mott Haven Herald. While at The Riverdale Press, she reported on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in the north Bronx. At The U.S. Sun, she has covered the New York Comic Con since 2022, highlighting cosplayers and special events. She has also interviewed the musicians behind Ulterior Motives, a song once believed to be lost, sparking a years-long internet investigation. She is a graduate of both Manhattan College and the Craig Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY
