NOT SO SUNNY

The View’s Sunny Hostin rips co-host Joy Behar for ‘psychotic’ behavior during outing away from talk show

THE VIEW'S Sunny Hostin has mocked her co-star Joy Behar for her odd behavior while shopping together.

Sunny, 56, recalled the experience on Tuesday's installment of the podcast, The View: Behind the Table.

It started with Sunny revealing the "strategy" she taught Joy while browsing at a sample sale to The View's executive producer, Brian Teta.

She explained how she encouraged the comedian to seek out the clothing people don't want from the dressing rooms to find the best items.

Sunny then shared that Joy, 81, took the idea a little too seriously and ended up "stalking" a woman for a red coat she had her eye on.

The TV personality further described her co-star's actions as "psychotic," as Joy became "really into" seeking out the bargain finds.

"[Joy]'s really into it. In kind of a psycho way, if I'm being honest," Sunny admitted.

"It's really strange because she's not only shopping for herself, she's shopping for [her husband] Steve, she's shopping for her daughter. Like, I'm kind of selfish."

Brian then noted that Joy has regularly talked about her newfound love of sample sales around the studio.

"And every day she's like, 'Where's the next sample sale?' It's not that easy. It's word of mouth most of the time," Sunny replied.

SWEET SELFIE

On Saturday, Sunny shared a photo from their outing on Instagram, showing the pair smiling while inside the store.

They looked glamorous for the day out, with Sunny rocking a denim top, a full face of makeup, and her curly brown locks in a half-up ponytail.

Joy also went full glam, dressed in all-black, heavy eyeliner, rose rosy pink lipstick, and her reddish-brown hair flowing in loose waves.

"Did someone say sample sale?" Sunny teased in her caption.

Fans adored seeing the hosts together outside of the studio and said so in the comments.

"Oh the giggles you two shared during this outing," one person wrote with smiling and heart emojis.

"Pretty girls," another fan said, while a third added, "...it's the smile for me."

The ladies of The View have been spending more time together lately, away from the talk show.

Co-hosts Sara Haines, 46, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34, also teamed up last week to see the new Mean Girls film in theaters and shared photos from the venture on social media.

ON A BREAK

The View - whose co-hosts also include Whoopi Goldberg, 68, and Ana Navarro, 52 - recently returned with new episodes after an extended break for the holidays.

Fans were outraged on Monday, January 15, when ABC aired another prerecorded episode, just days after new episodes resumed.

"I know it's gonna be prerecorded today, or should be, cuz it's MLK Day," one viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"This is a previously recorded episode," someone else pointed out.

Since the day was a federal holiday in the United States, Martin Luther King Day, the show took a break, and the hosts returned to the panel on Tuesday.
