MARTHA Stewart seemed a little lost while kicking off the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
The self-described lifestyle expert nearly mistook what state she was in.

Martha was given the honor of declaring "Rider's Up" at the annual horse race - the signal for jockeys to mount their steed's and make their final preparations before the race.
"Racing fans from around the world," she started successfully. "The city of Louisville, and the commonwealth of Connectic..."
The 82-year-old suddenly froze, realizing she was, indeed, not in Connecticut.
"I was going to say Connecticut!" she confessed with a grin, before composing herself and continuing. "Welcome you to the 150th anniversary race. Rider’s up!"

Social media naturally had a field day with the foul-up, with many wondering if Martha's mistake may have been caused by some derby delights.
"I think Martha Stewart was hitting the mint julep!" one person joked on X, formerly Twitter.
"She thinks she’s in Connecticut instead of Kentucky," another echoed.
"Martha Stewart, you had one job today and it wasn’t in Connecticut," a third sent.

However, there was no proof nor evidence Martha was even drinking at the event, and she didn't immediately address the snafu.

Martha is still turning heads at age 82.
Last month, she stunned guests while attended the Go Wild Planners Conference in Dallas, Texas.
The event brings together planners and creators for a weekend of meet-and-greets.
Shared on her Instagram, Martha posed for a quick selfie backstage while showing off her outfit of the day.

The professional cook stunned in a plunging white top underneath a beige blazer that was buttoned up in the front.
On the bottom, she matched her undershirt with wide-legged pants.
Martha accessorized her look with a beaded necklace worth $330.
She captioned her post, "In Dallas Texas today at @loewshotels to speak at the @gowildforplanners event.
"Had a great time being interviewed on stage and then Q&A These are our readers and makers!!! And they were having a very good time!!!

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model previously shared her beauty secrets with her fanbase.
In April 2023, Martha took to Instagram and shared her trip to the salon.

"Eating very well. Pilates three times a week." Martha replied.
"Horseback rides at least once a week."

In May 2023, the cover model admitted to Variety how she hates Botox, but confessed to getting fillers.
“Every now and then, there are certain fillers that I can do for a little line here or there, but I hate Botox,” Martha shared.
"It’s a weird thing for me. I really and truly don’t do a lot.”
The reporter then pressed her about plastic surgery.
“I’ve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever," Martha told the outlet.
