Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, and Carrie Underwood - among other performers - are currently staking their claim to Sin City but there has been a long line of musical residencies that helped to make Las Vegas the world's entertainment capital.

ADELE

The singer's residency got off to a rough start after the plug was pulled on the opening at the last minute due to production delays and some of her team contracting Covid-19, but Adele, 36, brought it back 11 months later with a bang.

The Grammy winner's Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, has been extended twice since the show began running on November 18, 2022.

Consisting of Friday and Saturday night gigs at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Adele has reportedly earned $1 million per show, with the New York Post claiming her extended run netted the Rolling in the Deep singer roughly $2 million per concert and a guaranteed $105 million overall.

Adele said her doctor made the executive decision to save her vocal cords.

"And so on doctor's orders, I have no choice but to rest thoroughly," the post read.
