Is Kim Kardashian running for president?

While some social media posts claim Kim Kardashian is running for office this year, it is a hoax as the reality TV star has no intention of taking part in the 2024 presidential election race.

However, Kim has been part of the conversations around the presidential race in the past - and even hinted she might one day run for the office.

In 2020, the star appeared to support ex-husband Kanye West in his race to the Oval Office.

Ye announced on the Fourth of July that he was planning to run against Donald Trump and Joe Biden for President.

Why is 'Kim Kardashian running for president' trending?

A previous picture of Kim with the current Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House has been trending on social media.

Internet users are speculating Kim Kardashian is running for president after these images were taken at the presidential residence.

The pictures were snapped during Kim’s last visit to Washington D.C. in April 2024 - and have now resurfaced.

The speculations were fueled by Kim's previous comments made in 2018 where she refused to rule out running for President in the future.

“Never say never,” she told CNN’s Van Jones in an interview set to air on The Van Jones Show on US TV after he asked if she would run for office.

“I honestly saw that if I could use my platform just to do something for one person, that it opens the conversation for so much more and for other people to want to do the same thing,” Kim said.

“If more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done."

The 37-year-old pop princess said public service wasn’t in her immediate future but added: “I guess never say never.”

When did Kim Kardashian visit the White House?

Kim's last visit to the White House was in April 2024.

The Skims founder travelled to Washington D.C. and met with Vice President Kamala Harris for a roundtable conference.

Inside the Roosevelt Room of The White House, Kim, 43, spoke with the current vice president about criminal reform.

The discussion involved pardon reforms introduced by President Joe Biden.

It was not the first time the former E! star travelled to the White House.

In May 2018, Kim met with former President Donald Trump, 77, at the nation's capital.

The TV star spoke on Johnson's behalf for her future.
