Other fans were more understanding of the "deserved" break, given that she's been touring almost non-stop since 2023.

"Deserved, she literally just got off of a 60+ show tour," another fan commented.

"SZA deserves all the rest and relaxation," one fan wrote, adding, "Looking forward to her comeback when she's ready."

"This is not good news," one fan commented.

"Can she actually do her job for once?" another fan questioned.

Despite the news, SZA isn't stepping away from the music industry anytime soon.

'Justice for SZA’ say Glastonbury fans as headliner is hit by more sound issues

During her headlining set at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival, SZA played snippets from her unreleased track, Cry Baby.

"It's not out, but it will be," she told the roaring crowd.

"Ooh-ooh, I know you told stories about me / Most of them awful, all of them true / Here's some for you, yeah-ooh," SZA sang.

She then abruptly switched tracks, playing Garden (Say It like Dat), one of the singles from her debut album, 2017's Ctrl.
