He says: “Sweating through the sheets, shakin’ in bed. Visions of her naked in my head. But I went off and chose myself instead.”

He later adds: “I thought I was about to be a father. Shook me to the core, I’m still a kid.

“Sometimes, I still cry out for my mother. Why, why, why? Why, why, why?”.

Shawn, who will play a one-off show in London on Tuesday, dated former Fifth Harmony member Camila on and off from 2019 to 2023.

His fifth album, Shawn, is out on October 18 and it promises to be his most emotional and heartfelt record to date.

Teasing the record, he said: “Music really can be medicine. Two years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was.

“A year ago I couldn’t step into a studio without falling into complete panic. So to be here right now with 12 beautiful finished songs feels like such a gift.”

Shawn added: “Life can be brutal but having a small group of people you deeply trust to walk you through makes it so much better.”

The Mission Impossible actor is famous for doing his own stunts in films, including scaling the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai and driving a train off a cliff in the Peak District for the blockbuster film series.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello perform together at the 2016 People's Choice Awards

This time he will take part in a special segment to mark Paris handing over the torch to America ahead of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

But thousands of fans keen to watch Tom in action in La La Land have been left gutted after officials confirmed the piece will be pre-recorded.

The County of Los Angeles was forced to clarify the plans after it was revealed several tour companies were planning to sell tickets for the reported live jump.

Tom’s stunt will still be featured in the ceremony but it won’t take place in real time.

The closing celebration is shaping up to be a huge event, with reports that Beyonce and Billie Eilish are due to perform.

Last month’s opening ceremony saw Celine Dion and Lady Gaga wow fans around the globe, albeit from a very wet Paris.

At least Tom won’t have to worry about the terrible weather tomorrow.

Dressed to impress, the singer slipped into this skin-tight nude gown covered in shining rhinestones.

The bash took place at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel.

It has been a breakthrough year for Sabrina, having grafted away for years releasing music.

Not only has the singer had UK No1 singles with Espresso and Please Please Please, but she’s also announced her first UK Arena tour.

Sabrina will play venues up and down the country next March, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena.

No wonder she is smiling.

'I've lost faith in X'

PALOMA FAITH has quit X after seeing Elon Musk wade into UK politics to comment on the recent far-right riots.

Taking to the social media platform – formerly Twitter – for the final time yesterday, Paloma said: “As someone dedicated to justice, fairness, and equality, I am deeply troubled by Elon Musk’s recent comments.

“I am vehemently anti-racist, anti-fascist, and X/Twitter has become misaligned with these values.

"I’ve decided to leave the platform. Love and solidarity.”

Kylie a gold winner

KYLIE MINOGUE once again shows she has the golden touch with a revealing dress split to the thigh.

The Padam Padam singer channels her inner-Greek goddess in these behind-the-scenes shots from the video for new track My Oh My.

Kylie wears a slashed gold dress and matching heels as she struts around stately home Syon House in West London.

She is joined by a troupe of dancers plus Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, who she collaborated with for the song.

The grand 18th-century venue is no stranger to being on camera, having previously been used by Netflix bosses for TV series Bridgerton.

Fans of the Regency drama will know the opulent pad for being the home of the Duke of Hastings.

Last month Kylie wowed fans with a sell-out show in London’s Hyde Park.

Keen not to ruin her shoes on the muddy ground, she was carried to the stage from her dressing room by Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey and fellow actor Andrew Scott.
