Seventies music legend looks unrecognisable as band reunites 16 years after last show together
SEVENTIES music legend Glen Matlock looked unrecognisable on today's instalment of Good Morning Britain.
The singer, 67 - who is part of punk rock band Sex Pistols - appeared on the ITV breakfast show to talk about the group reuniting on stage for the first time in 16 years.
The band, which formed in 1975, was originally made up of Glen, Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook.
Glen was replaced by Sid Vicious when he quit the group in 1977, and went on to join other bands including Rich Kids, Faces, The International Swingers
But after Sid died aged 21 in 1979, he joined the band on stage for various tours in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Sex Pistols have split and got back together a number of times after their first stint between 1975 and 1978.
They got back together in 1996, and again for a year in 2002, and 2007 - and have now reunited again in 2024.
The band now consists of Paul Cook, Steve Jones, and Glen.
They performed at Bush Hall last night and Glen appeared on GMB to talk about their reunion.
Glen said: "We did three shows as a fundraiser for Bush Hall, you know lots of venues have had problems since Covid, we thought we'd help out with that.

"It went really well, we had a singer called Frank Carter, he's fantastic, my son suggested.
"The chemistry is great!
"In fact this morning, we've announced another London show at the Forum in Kentish Town in September.
"There's lots of stuff going on.
"I haven't stopped this year. I've been touring with Blondie.
"I got my own stuff coming up later this year. I've got a book out."
Back in June fans rejoiced when they heard about the Sex Pistol gigs.
One person that missing from the shows was John "Johnny Rotten" Lydon, after falling out with the band.
Ahead of the shows, Paul explained: “We’re going to be playing Pistols numbers cause they need support and they need the money. We thought it would be a great way to stop it going under.
"This is my local venue. I grew up in Shepherd’s Bush and I still live round here.

"It would be a real shame to see it disappear and we want to keep it going.
"So everyone get down to the gig!"
