Federal prosecutors said for years, Sangha operated a "drug-selling emporium" from her North Hollywood pad in Los Angeles, distributing ketamine, cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax, and other narcotics, according to court documents.

The U.S. Sun has learned that Sangha, who is facing life in prison on a string of federal drug charges, has close ties with Perla Ferrar Hudson, the ex-wife of British musician and Guns N' Rose's lead guitarist Slash.

Hudson, 49, shared a video on her Instagram consisting of a sequence of photos of the pair on their many vacations and detox sessions.

She called the accused drug dealer a "sister sent by God."

"I always wanted a sister and God sent me you," Hudson captioned the social media post in July 2023 as she celebrated Sangha's birthday.

In one of the snaps in the video collage, Sangha and Hudson are pictured enjoying cocktails at what appears to be an airport lounge.

Other pictures show Sangha and Hudson on a private plane, while in another, the bikini-clad pair and two other women are on a boat with the caption, "Mary you have been a staple in my life and I'm so grateful for your friendship."

In several photos, Sangha is covered in gold bracelets and chains while dressed in the French designer brand Balmain.

"My best wingman at all times," Hudson described Sangha.

In a separate social media post from 2017, Hudson and Sangha are seen taking a picture with rapper DJ Khaled.

In another social media post from that year, Sangha is pictured partying with actor Charlie Sheen at the Mulholland Estates Gated Community Homes in Beverly Hills.

A euphoric-looking Sangha is snapped in a shiny black dress, wearing gold bracelets, rings, and a collar necklace, with a cocktail in hand.

The Instagram user who uploaded the photos uses the hashtag "Queen Jasveen."

Hudson, who also attended the lavish "jazzy disco bash," shared a separate social media post of herself, Sangha, and Sheen posing for a picture with the caption, "This party was epic! What a cast of characters!"

Neither Sheen, DJ Khaled, or Hudson have been linked or named as suspects in the federal investigation into Matthew Perry's death.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Hudson for comment.

Meanwhile, The U.S. Sun reported in June that Perry had been romantically involved with Sheen's ex-wife, Brooke Mueller.

The Friends star’s ex-girlfriend and former assistant Kayti Edwards, 48, previously told The U.S. Sun that Perry was involved with Mueller almost 20 years ago in 2006 after they met in Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Perry and Mueller also spent time with Sangha while all three were at the same rehab facility before his death, according to TMZ.

Mueller has previously been questioned in connection with Perry’s death, In Touch reported in June.

Investigators have not filed charges against Mueller or named her as a potential suspect.

What we know so far...

  • Five people were charged for the fatal drug overdose of famed Friends actor Matthew Perry, who was found dead on October 28, 2023.
  • The suspects named in the federal indictment were identified as doctors Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry's live-in assistant, broker Mark Fleming, and accused drug dealer Jasveen Sangha.
  • Investigators said Matthew Perry fell back into addiction during the fall of 2023.
  • Between September and October 2023, Plasencia, Chavez, and Sangha distributed approximately 70 vials of ketamine to Perry.
  • The five suspects coordinated to deliver the drugs to Perry to "enrich themselves," prosecutors said.
  • Plasencia and Sangha were arrested on Thursday, while Fleming, Chavez, and Iwamasa signed plea agreements.

MATTHEW PERRY'S OUT OF CONTROL ADDICTION

On Thursday, DEA officials detailed how Matthew Perry's drug addiction resurfaced during the fall of 2023 after undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to treat depression and anxiety.

"When clinic doctors refused to increase his dosage, he turned to unscrupulous doctors, who saw Perry as a way to make quick money," DEA administrator Anne Milgram said.

"As Matthew Perry's ketamine addiction grew, he wanted more, and he wanted faster and cheaper.

"That is how he ended up buying from street dealers, who sold the ketamine that ultimately led to his death."

Martin Estrada, the US attorney for the Central District of California, said Perry turned to doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, after his ketamine addiction grew.

I wonder how much this moron will pay.

Salvador PlasenciaThe doctor said of Matthew Perry in text exchanges iwth Mark Chavez.

Plasencia and Chavez coordinated with Perry's longtime live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, to distribute the drugs to the Friends actor.

The doctors would charge Perry $2,000 for a vial of ketamine that would cost them about $12, Estrada said.

"These defendants took advantage to profit for themselves," the prosecutor added.

On September 30, 2023, Plasencia and Chavez discussed purchasing ketamine so they could sell it to Perry, according to a federal indictment.

In a text message, Plasencia and Chavez allegedly discussed how much they would charge the actor.

"I wonder how much this moron will pay," Plasencia, a physician at an urgent care center known as "Dr. P," texted Chavez before adding, "Let's find out," according to court documents.

Estrada said that between September and October 2023, Plasencia, Chavez, and Iwamasa distributed approximately 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $55,000 in cash.

'QUICKER AND CHEAPER'

But, as his ketamine source from Plasencia and Chavez got more expensive, Perry sought to get his drug cheaper and quicker.

The beloved actor turned to Eric Fleming, a broker who received his ketamine from Jasveen Sangha, according to prosecutors.

Sangha sold approximately 50 vials of ketamine to Perry during a two-week period in October 2023, Estrada said.

Investigators said that about 25 vials were sold to the actor four days before his death.

Sangha worked with Fleming and Iwamasa to distribute the drugs to Perry.

The "Ketamine Queen" profited approximately $11,000 in cash from the sales, according to Estrada.

Sangha is believed to have sold the batch of ketamine that ultimately led to Perry's death.

The accused drug peddler is also facing a separate federal drug charge after previously selling a fatal batch of ketamine to another customer in 2019, prosecutors said.

The victim, identified as Cody McGlory, died after taking the bad drugs.

'SHOOT ME UP'

Perry, 54, was found dead in the hot tub of his home in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023.

According to Iwamasa's plea agreement, which was obtained by Rolling Stone on Friday, all of the ketamine administered to Perry on the day he died was provided by Fleming and his drug source.

It also stated that, at Perry's direction, Iwamasa injected the star's first shot of ketamine at around 8:30 am before giving him a second shot at 12:45 pm.

About 40 minutes later, Perry asked Iwamasa to "prepare the jacuzzi" for him and asked him to "Shoot me up with a big one."

Iwamasa allegedly did what Perry asked and left the actor's home to run errands.

When he returned, he found Perry "face down in the jacuzzi and deceased."

AUTOPSY

An autopsy revealed the Friends star had traces of ketamine in his system on the night his live-in assistant discovered him floating face down in the hot tub of his swimming pool at his Palisades home.

The autopsy report detailed Perry's final moments, which included his 11 am pickleball session.

Iwamasa last reported seeing the actor at around 1:37 pm on October 28, 2023.

Upon returning to Perry's home, Iwamasa found Perry floating face-down in his hot tub.

The assistant quickly jumped in and pulled Perry's head out of the water before calling the police.

Paramedics arrived and moved Perry out of the water before pronouncing him dead.

A toxicology report determined Perry had a high volume of ketamine in his system, which they described as equivalent to the amount for general anesthesia during surgery.

His death was ultimately ruled an accident, including other contributing factors such as drowning, cardiovascular overstimulation, and respiratory depression caused by ketamine.

Five charged in Matthew Perry's death

On August 15, prosecutors announced a slew of charges stemming from the tragic overdose death of Friends star Matthew Perry.

Here are the five individuals allegedly behind Perry's ketamine crisis.

  • "Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles" Jasveen Sangha - Sangha is a 41-year-old drug dealer who allegedly helped sell the ketamine that killed Perry, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. In 2019, Sangha sold ketamine to another victim hours before he died, prosecutors say. After hearing of his death, she allegedly searched "can ketamine be listed as a cause of death," on Google. She faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted of all charges.
  • "Dr. P" Dr. Salvador Plasencia - Plasencia, 42, allegedly learned that Perry was seeking ketamine, and obtained doses from a dirty doctor. Speaking to the doctor over text, he allegedly said, "I wonder how much this moron will pay." Plasencia taught unlicensed people associated with Perry how to inject ketamine, and even personally injected it at times, prosecutors say. Perry's assistant, who was taught by Plasencia, administered the fatal dose on October 28, 2023. Plasencia is facing nine charges stemming from the death.
  • Kenneth Iwamasa - Iwamasa, 59, was Perry's live-in assistant who was allegedly taught how to inject ketamine by Dr. Plasencia, according to prosecutors. He also corresponded with dealers to organize the sale and delivery of the drug. He admitted to injecting Perry multiple times on the day of his death in a guilty plea.
  • Eric Fleming - Fleming, 54, is a dealer who helped to coordinate drug sales to Sangha before they ultimately made it to Perry. He corresponded with Iwamasa when ketamine was on its way to their home. Fleming admitted to distributing 50 vials of ketamine to Iwamasa, half of them four days before Perry's death.
  • Dr. Mark Chavez - Chavez admitted to selling ketamine to Dr. Plasencia by writing fraudulent prescriptions. He also coordinated with Iwamasa to get the drugs to Perry. Between September and October 2023, Plasencia, Chavez, and Iwamasa allegedly distributed approximately 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $55,000 in cash.
