COMEDIAN John Mulaney and his wife Annamarie Tendler announced that they were getting a divorce.
The fan-favorite couple had been married for seven years prior to their split.

Despite being married since 2014, Melaney and Tendler never had any children together.
Mulaney had said over the years in his stand-up sketches that he did not want to have children.
Despite this, he revealed on a September 2021 episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers that he and Olivia Munn were expecting their first child together.
The two began dating in May 2021 while the comedy star was separated from Tendler and months before he filed for divorce.

"I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible who has dealt with the non-coked up Bambi version of me, and that’s been very incredible, and she’s kind of held by hand through that hell," Mulaney said.
"And we're having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news!"
Mulaney continued: "Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery."
The announcement came just days after fans started speculating that the actress was pregnant after she was spotted out in Los Angeles last week wearing baggy clothes.

While Mulaney and Munn dated since May 2021, they went public with their relationship days after Mulaney filed for divorce in July.
In 2015, Munn revealed that they first met at a wedding, when she recalled being "so obsessed," with spending time with him.
“We were at a wedding together and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, do you and your fiancée want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?’” Munn said at the time.
“At first it was cool, and then I kept going up to him at the wedding like, ‘So, you having fun?’ I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him.”
Following their awkward first encounter, Munn tried to stay in contact and the two later reconnected and sparked romance in May 2021.
In July 2024, People reported that the couple got married in a private ceremony in New York after dating for three years.
A source told the outlet that the wedding was a "simple, intimate ceremony at a friend's home in New York state."
The outlet reports that only their son and a witness were in attendance.
What did John Mulaney say about his previous divorce?
In July 2021, Mulaney issued a statement through a spokesman regarding his separation from Tendler.
The statement read, “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work.”
Tendler also commented through her spokesperson, saying: “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”
Prior to Mulaney going to rehab, Tendler deleted her social media and took a break from posting content.
She re-emerged to showcase her photography under a new username.
The couple would dedicate posts to each other on social media, with Mulaney writing in 2018: “Happy Valentines Day to the coolest, kindest, funniest, weirdest, most beautiful, most artistically inspiring person I have ever met.”
