Who is Mishael Morgan?
Born on July 15, 1986, Mishael Morgan is a native of the Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago.
Mishael has two sisters, Maggris and Monique. She and her family moved to New York when she was just five years old, before relocating to Canada.
The now-35-year-old attended York University in Toronto, and made her television debut in 2008.
Between 2008 and 2009, Mishael had a recurring role in Canadian teen drama, The Best Years.
She later was cast in Republic of Doyle, and appeared in films Casino Jack and Total Recall.
The actress has also had guest roles in Supernatural, The Listener, and Backpackers.
In May of 2012, Mishael married Navid Ali. They had their first child, Niam, in 2015.
Three years later, the couple welcomed their second child, Naliyah.

Mishael made her debut on The Young and The Restless in May of 2013, where she appeared as Hilary Curtis.
Five years later, on June 11, 2018, Mishael confirmed she would be leaving the show after unsuccessful attempts to renegotiate her salary.
Her final appearance as Hilary Curtis came on July 27, 2018, where her character died from injuries sustained in a car accident.
The following year, however, Mishael returned to the show as a new character, Amanda Sinclair.
For her work as Hilary Curtis, she received two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, in 2018 and 2019.

The first episode of The Young and the Restless premiered on CBS on March 26, 1973.
Set in a fictionalized version of Genoa City, Wisconsin, the show originally followed two main families: the Brooks and the Fosters.
During the 1980s, two new families were added to the roster: the Abbotts and the Williams.
