LOVE Island winner Davide Sanclimenti has released a statement after he was caught snorting a white powder in Ibiza saying: "I was not acting like myself".
It comes after The Sun revealed that the reality TV star, 28, was filmed pouring a suspicious substance on to his left hand before inhaling it through one nostril while holding down the other.

The short clip was taken when Davide — who was in the Balearics for three days to do a promotional photoshoot for BoohooMan— was in the renowned nightspot’s Secret Garden area.
Davide - who recently split from co-star girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu - admitted he was going through a "difficult" time and was in a "vulnerable state".
He wrote: "Ciao everyone. You may have seen some stories about me over my trip in Ibiza.
"It was no secret that the last few weeks have been difficult for me.
"There was a speculation about my behaviour and a video which was questionable, however below the surface of this I did something that’s not nice to see and was not acting like myself."
He continued: “The true story is not what has been described from a couple of pictures.
“I found myself in awkward situations, in a vulnerable state.
“All I can say now is that I want to move on and focus on my career, my wellbeing and my loved ones.

It comes after a reveller in Hï Ibiza nightclub filmed the Italian businessman last Sunday — just three days after he announced his break-up with Love Island partner Ekin-Su, 28, on social media.
An onlooker said: “Davide looked shifty as he came out to the tent and took a hit of this powder off his hand.
"He didn’t talk much and seemed very focused on this powder.
“He said he was ‘struggling’ with his break with Ekin-Su but he didn’t seem too heartbroken or cut up about it.
“He was more interested in partying.”
Another clubber said: “Davide was telling people he was after a good time as he’d just been through a break-up.
“He said he wanted to have a good time during his trip.”
Experts say cocaine users often snort the drug off the back of the hand, but Davide’s spokesman insisted he was snorting snuff.
His split with Ekin-Su comes after he was accused of having a fling with two Instagram beauties behind her back after the trio went clubbing in Manchester, where he lives.
We told how Ekin-Su was fuming when she found pictures on his phone, messaging one of the women to call her “f*****g slag” and “cow”.
Davide and Ekin-Su tried to patch things up with an Amsterdam trip but it was unsuccessful.

A source said last week that he decided to end things with Ekin-Su because he felt as if he was “in her shadow”.
The insider said: “He felt swamped in the relationship and he felt she cared more about them as a money-making brand than as a love match.”
